none at all. Even Tyra Banks, Cameron Diaz and Seth Green felt ugly when they were teens, and look at them now. Hey U.G.L.Y. - unique gifted lovable you - is a movement to stamp out low self-esteem that offers results-oriented programs to middle schools and high schools that school principals are raving about.

With more than 3 million teens having considered suicide in 2000, and suicide being the third leading cause of death for 15-to-24-year-olds, and the sixth leading cause of death for 5-to-14-year-olds, helping tweens and teens with self-esteem is imperative. However, with school budgets being slashed, funding is not always available for these types of valuable programs. Sales from the Hey U.G.L.Y. line, with logos designed by American designers Pamela Robins and Anna Riback, will be used to help deliver this important program to schools free of charge.

Robins, whose fashions have been seen on NBC's "Friends,"
MTV's "Real World"
and "Veronica's Closet,"
has designed a retro-inspired vintage-look for her U.G.L.Y. logo in brilliant fuscia with daisy cutouts that every budding flower child will want to wear. Photographer and artist, Riback, created a streamlined version in ebony black with a blazing purple "G"
. Try not to laugh when you see someone wearing the sweat pants that have the logo emblazoned on the backside. It's just the designers' way of giving the term "Butt Ugly"
a whole new meaning.

The clothes are available at www.HeyUGLY.net; prices range from $12 and $16 for the tees and sweat shirts, to $18 for the sweat pants and $14 for the cool cap.
